Hello, I'm Erdeni: a growth marketer rebuilding GTM with AI
Who I am, what I learned running outbound, paid and CRO at a B2B SaaS startup that doubled to 8,000 customers, and what this blog will cover next.

I’m Erdeni, a growth and GTM marketer in Toronto. For the last year and a half I’ve worked on the marketing team at Maildoso, a B2B SaaS startup in email infrastructure, while it grew from about 4,000 to nearly 8,000 customers. This blog is where I’ll write down what I’ve learned, and what I’m learning now.
Why I’m writing this
Most of what I know about B2B marketing I learned by doing it: sending the campaign, reading the numbers on Monday, and changing something. Writing it down makes me think more clearly, and it gives anyone hiring for growth or GTM a far better picture of how I work than a resume can.
If I don’t have a real number, I won’t make one up.
That’s my rule here. Results will come with context, and experiments that didn’t work count too.
What I’ve done so far
Outbound at scale
I run cold email campaigns of 5,000–100,000 prospects each and own the full pipeline:
- Lists: build them in Apollo against an ideal customer profile.
- Enrichment: find and verify emails with LeadMagic.
- Copy: write the sequence, with spintax so emails don’t look identical.
- Sending: run it through Instantly, with mailboxes warmed up beforehand.
- Deliverability: test spam placement before and during sending.
Paid social and attribution
I run LinkedIn and Meta ads end to end. The most useful thing I built was simple: conversion tracking on the thank-you page. It tied ad spend to actual sales, showed that LinkedIn retargeting was driving revenue, and gave us the confidence to move budget there.
Pricing experiments
I designed two versions of our pricing page and A/B tested them in VWO.
Reporting and community
Every week I write a performance report for our Head of Marketing from ChartMogul and CRM data, covering MRR, ad spend, sales, community growth, and which regions bring in the most MRR. I also grew our Slack community from 1,100 to 1,470 members (+34%).
What I’m learning next
The GTM roles I find most exciting now ask for two things at once: knowing how pipeline actually gets built, and being able to automate it. I have the first. I’m working on the second, in public:
- Clay for enrichment waterfalls and lead scoring
- n8n for workflows that connect tools together
- LLMs (Claude) for research and personalization, with guardrails so they don’t make things up
- SQL for reporting I don’t have to rebuild by hand every week
Here’s the shape of the prompt I’ll be testing in my first project, an AI-personalized cold email opener:
You are writing the first line of a cold email.
Use ONLY the facts below. If none are specific enough, return "SKIP".
Prospect: {{first_name}}, {{title}} at {{company}}
Facts: {{recent_news}} | {{hiring_signal}} | {{tech_stack}}
Rules: max 20 words, no flattery, no questions, no "I noticed".
